A Chili home’s garage caught fire after being struck by lightning during last night’s storms. It happened on West Ham Circle in Chili at about 11:30 Monday night.
Chili firefighters say it destroyed the garage, the bonus room above the garage and three cars. The fire was kept from spreading to the home itself.
Two people got out safely, and one firefighter was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
