The Rochester Fire Department called a third alarm when three houses caught fire Thursday afternoon on Lexington Avenue. Fire investigators say the blaze was intentionally set.

Firefighters were called to the corner of Lexington Avenue and  Brooklyn Street at about 2:15 p.m. They soon called a second and then a third alarm due to the size of the fire. Only one of the three houses was occupied, and those residents got out safely. Nobody was injured. It’s unclear how many people lived in the home.
