A coin laundry on Mt. Hope Avenue caught fire Wednesday evening when a drier went up in flames.
The fire spread to the ceiling and took about 20 minutes to put out. Smoke from the fire extended into the Hikari Foods and Grocery store next door causing damage.
There were no reported injuries.
