Sears says it’s closing down 80 more Sears and Kmart stores…including the Sears at Marketplace Mall in Henrietta. It will also close its stores in the Southern Tier. The stores will be closed in late March, according to the company’s web site. Liquidation sales at the Henrietta Sears and the other stores are expected to begin in two weeks.
This is in addition to previously announced store closings that will be completed in February. The company says it needs to make these moves for its financial restructuring .
