Jake Schindler and Boomer Stiegleman each score twice to pace Rochester over Detroit.

DETROIT, MI. — The Rochester Lancers completed their weekend road trip with a 7-3 victory over the Detroit Waza Flo Sunday evening.

Both teams entered the game tied for second place in the Eastern Division with 4-3 records.

Boomer Stiegelman gave the Lancers a 2-0 in the first quarter. Luis Hidalgo Enrique scored early in the second period before the Waza Flo got on the scoreboard 31 seconds later.

However, Irondequoit native Schindler answered just 20 seconds later before scoring again in the final minute of the half for a 5-1 advantage.

Detroit netted the lone tally in the third stanza before Gary Boughton and Michael Cunningham found the back of the net in the fourth quarter for Rochester.

The Lancers next games are Feb. 22 in Muskegon, MI., against Risers, and Feb. 23 in Chicago versus the Mustangs.
