The first place Mustangs notch a 10-6 win over Rochester.
HENRIETTA, N.Y. — The Rochester Lancers lost their second game of the MASL 2 season Friday night, 10-6, to the Chicago Mustangs at the Dome Arena.
The Lancers led twice by 1 goal in the early going, but Chicago took control of the match in the second quarter, outscoring the Lancers, 3-1, for a 5-3 halftime advantage.
Gary Boughton, Lubo Kosic, Timothy Lazorko, Luis Hidalgo, Jeremy Ortiz, and August Finn scored the goals for Rochester.
Boomer Stiegelman picked up 2 assists for the Lancers as Kosic, Alex Harling, and Irondequoit native Jake Schindler had 1 assist apiece.
Rochester (3-2) remains in second place behind Chicago (7-1) in the Eastern Division.
The Lancers are home again Saturday night against the Cincinnati Swerve at 7 pm.
