The International Joint Commission’s newsletter says extremely high water levels are likely to remain through the summer on all the Great Lakes, but none are expected to reach the record high water levels set in 1980s or the 1950s.
Lake Ontario at Rochester stood at just over 247.5 feet this morning. According to the Army Corps of Engineers, that’s a little under two feet higher than the long term average for this time of year.
