Strong north winds began pushing water from Lake Ontario into yards and around homes on Edgemere Drive in Greece Sunday afternoon and evening.
Greece Police asked that there be no unnecessary travel on Edgemere Drive Sunday due to the flooding. On the section further back from the lake, the waters of Buck Pond were nearly up to the edge of the pavement.

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo spent much of the day touring neighborhoods in Greece and Parma where homes were surrounded by water that covered front yards and driveways.
