Rochester Firefighters spent much of the night dealing with a blaze in an apartment building on Lake Avenue.
Crews were called out about 11:00 p.m. for fire alarms going off in the building. They found smoke coming from the two-story brick building and the occupants already outside. The fire was on the first floor, but crews had to search the entire building and the adjacent apartments for any sign the fire had spread.
No injuries were reported. The Red Cross was helping 20 residents with alternate housing.
