Rochester ends its 3-game road trip against the Black Wolves.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Knighthawks will end their three-game road trip when they battle the New England Black Wolves on Friday, Feb. 3 at Mohegan Sun Arena. The 7:30 pm contest is the second of four meetings between the two teams.

Last Meeting against the Wolves: The Knighthawks earned their first win of the season on Jan. 7 by knocking off New England 15-8. Rochester scored nine power-play goals to finish one shy of tying its team and league record of 10 set in 2007. The offense was led by Rochester rookies Kyle Jackson, Josh Currier and Dan Lomas, who combined for 21 points.
Scouting the Knighthawks: Rochester knocked off the previously unbeaten Toronto Rock Saturday night behind a 49-save performance from Matt Vinc. It was an historic night for “Vno,” as he also became only the fifth player in NLL history to record his 6,000th career save. Rochester used goals by six different players to pick up its first road win of the season. Joe Resetarits led the way with three goals and one assist, while rookie Kyle Jackson scored two goals, including the game-winner, in a three-point effort. The game also marked the return of former NLL MVP Dan Dawson, who dished out three assists. His last assist was his 350th point as a Knighthawk. Scott Campbell also reached a milestone as he played in his 100th game with Rochester. The Knighthawks (2-2) enter the game in third place in the East Division.
Dynamic Duo: Rookies Kyle Jackson and Josh Currier continue to lead the Knighthawks in points. Jackson, who was selected seventh overall, is the team leader with 13 assists and 17 points. Currier, who was the sixth overall pick, leads Rochester with six goals and is second with 14 points.
Resetarits heating up: Joe Resetarits has been the most consistent forward this season for the Knighthawks. He is coming off a three-goal, one-assist outing against the Rock. Resetarits, who is riding a four-game point streak, is currently tied for second on the team in goals (five) and points (14). He is also second on the Knighthawks with nine assists.
Suitor and Rae make debuts: Andrew Suitor made his Knighthawks debut on Saturday and collected four loose balls and had one opportunity in transition. John Rae also achieved a career first as he made his professional debut and dished several big hits.
Milestone Alert:
• Sid Smith, who has played in 112 games, trails Knighthawks head coach Mike Hasen by two games for seventh best on the team’s all-time games played list.
• Paul Dawson needs just one game to play in his 150th as a Knighthawk.
• Jarrett Davis needs just one game to play in his 100th as a pro.
• The Knighthawks are only five wins away from reaching the 200-win plateau as a franchise.
Scouting the Black Wolves: New England enters the game after picking up its first win of the season on Jan. 28. The Black Wolves defeated the Buffalo Bandits 13-12, as Kevin Crowley netted the game-winner with 53 seconds to play. Crowley leads the team with nine goals and is second behind Shawn Evans with 19 points. New England is tied for fourth place in the East Division with a 1-3 record.
Knighthawks Next Game: Rochester returns home on Saturday, Feb. 11 to host the Saskatchewan Rush at 7:30 p.m. at Connors & Ferris Field at the Blue Cross Arena. Prior to the contest, the Knighthawks will hold their Annual Kids Day, which features inflatables, laser tag, face painters, balloon animals and air brush tattoos. Admission to the pregame event and the game are free for kids 12 and under with the purchase of an adult ticket. The offer is limited to three kids tickets for every adult ticket purchased.
