Rochester is hosting the Cradle for the Cure Game and Jersey Auction Saturday night as well.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Knighthawks will host their Cradle for the Cure game on Saturday when they entertain the Colorado Mammoth at 7:30 pm at Connors & Ferris Field at the Blue Cross Arena.

The Knighthawks will wear light blue jerseys, which will be auctioned off to benefit CURE Childhood Cancer Association. Fans can bid on the game-worn, signed jerseys at www.knighthawks.com/Auction.

The auction, which will also feature over a dozen jerseys of past greats, will begin on Wednesday at noon and end at 9:30 pm on the night of the game. Tickets are available at www.knighthawks.com or by calling (585) 454-4295.

The Knighthawks (7-7) enter the weekend in a second-place tie in the East Division after knocking off the Saskatchewan Rush, 13-10, on Saturday to sweep the 2-game regular season series.

Hall of Fame Night: On Saturday, the Knighthawks are inducting Mike Accursi into the team’s Hall of Fame, making him the 17th member of the prestigious club. The St. Catharines, Ontario native spent seven of his 17 seasons in Rochester, wearing the teal and purple from 2005-07 and 2011-14. Known as one of the top clutch players in franchise history, he helped Rochester win four of its five Champion’s Cups.

Broadcast Information: The contest will be televised live on CW Rochester. The game will also be broadcast on Fox Rochester 1280 and the iHeartRadio app. Fans can also watch on NLL TV (NLLTV.com).

Scouting the Knighthawks: Rochester completed a 2-game sweep of the Saskatchewan Rush Saturday night. The Knighthawks were led by a 7-point effort from Joe Resetarits and 6 points from Austin Shanks. Eric Fannell scored his first career hat trick, and defenseman Luc Magnan had a career-high 3 assists. Matt Vinc, who played in his 200th career game, picked up the win in a 43-save effort. Cody Jamieson and Joe Resetarits also both reached milestones. Jamieson collected his 600th career point, while Resetarits earned his 300th.

Withers Closing in on History: Jake Withers is 47 faceoff wins away from breaking Stephen Hoar’s 2007 team single-season faceoff wins record of 240. Withers also needs 46 more faceoff victories to break Stephen Peyser’s 2009 NLL rookie record.

Take me to Your Leaders: Joe Resetarits leads Rochester with a career-high 51 assists and 79 points, which are both fourth best in the NLL. Cody Jamieson is tied for second with 53 assists, while Kyle Jackson is tied for sixth in the NLL with a career-high 30 goals.

Young Guns: Austin Shanks is second in the league in points among rookies with 38, while Eric Fannell is third with 26.

Scouting the Mammoth: Colorado will play two games against East Division opponents in two nights, as it visits Toronto Friday and Rochester Saturday. The Mammoth will try to get back in the win column after having their five-game winning streak snapped last weekend, following a 13-12 loss to the Vancouver Stealth. Former Buffalo Bandits forward Ryan Benesch leads Colorado in both goals (28) and points (72). Goalie Dillon Ward is second in the NLL in save percentage (.787) and third in goals-against average (10.85).

Next Game: Rochester has a bye week before returning to action on Friday, April 13 in Toronto. The game against the Rock is a 7:30 pm faceoff at the Air Canada Centre.
