The defenseman, and 2-time All-MAAC first-team selection, inks a multi-year deal.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Knighthawks General Manager and Vice President of Lacrosse Operations Dan Carey announced today that the team has signed defenseman Logan Monroe to a two-year contract. The transaction is pending league approval.
Monroe recently completed a four-year collegiate career at Canisius College (MAAC), earning All-MAAC First Team honors in 2017 and 2018 and All-MAAC Second Team laurels in 2019. In 60 games with the Griffins, Monroe collected 95 ground balls while adding four assists.
In addition to playing for Canisius, Monroe, a Holt, MI. native, spent the 2017 and 2018 summers with the St. Catharines Athletics of the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League (OLA), registering 3 goals and 4 assists in 39 contests.
A new era of Knighthawks lacrosse begins on Saturday, Nov. 30 when Rochester opens its inaugural NLL season against the Georgia Swarm at the Blue Cross Arena.
