The Knighthawks blitzed the Wings in the fourth quarter, scoring three power-play goals to break a 6-6 tie. Rochester also got a shorthanded marker to end the contest on a 4-0 run. Special teams accounted for 60 percent of the Knighthawks’ offense.

Rochester used a balanced offensive effort, receiving goals from nine different players. Cody Jamieson (1+3), Kyle Jackson (1+3) and Pat Saunders (1+3) led the way with 4-point efforts, while Joe Resetarits chipped in with two goals and one assist.

The Knighthawks shuffled guys in and out of the lineup at half, including their goalies. Starter Angus Goodleaf played the entire first half, yielding 5 goals. Warren Hill, who was signed Tuesday, came in and blanked the Wings in the third quarter and gave way to rookie Nick Damude in the fourth.
