The camp will take place in Brighton on July 23-26.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Knighthawks Lacrosse Academy announced its Summer Lacrosse Skills Camp will take place from Monday, July 23 through Thursday, July 26 at Brighton Sports Zone (3195 Brighton Henrietta Town Line Rd.).
“I am excited for a great week where kids will be able to learn a bunch of new skills, and, more importantly, have fun,” said Knighthawks transition man Brad Gillies, who is the Knighthawks academy director.
Gillies headlines an all-star cast of instructors that includes fellow Knighthawks forwards Austin Shanks and Luke Laszkiewicz, as well as Syracuse University goalie Willie Klan. The clinic will introduce kids to the finer points of the game with drills used at actual Knighthawks’ practices.
The camp, which will run daily from 9 am to noon, is geared toward players ages 6-12. The cost is $150 per player and $50 for goalies. The Knighthawks Summer Lacrosse Skills Camp includes 12 hours of world-class instruction and daily scrimmages. Kids will also have the opportunity to win tons of prizes, including full sticks.
