Rochester travels to British Columbia to take on the Vancouver Stealth.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Knighthawks’ three-game road trip continues Saturday, Feb. 25 with a trip to Langley, BC to battle the Vancouver Stealth. Faceoff at the Langley Events Centre is slated for 10 pm.

Scouting the Knighthawks: The game against the Stealth is the first and only meeting of the season between the two teams. Rochester leads the all-time series with a 7-4 record. This past weekend, Rochester (2-6) battled the two top teams in the East Division, as it took on the Toronto Rock and the Georgia Swarm. On Sunday in Georgia, Rochester got a five-point performance from Joe Resetarits, while Dan Dawson posted a goal and added two assists. Dawson is now tied for fourth place with Mike Accursi on the Knighthawks all-time points list. Angus Goodleaf made his first start of the season and notched 36 saves. On Saturday against the Rock, Dawson posted a season-high two goals as part of a four-point effort. In goal, Matt Vinc turned aside 36 shots and allowed just nine goals.

Three’s a Crowd: After last weekend’s pair of games, Joe Resetarits now leads the Knighthawks with 28 points. Rookies Josh Currier (26) and Kyle Jackson (25) are a close second and third, respectively.

Becker makes his Debut: Forward Josh Becker made his professional debut last Saturday and earned his first professional point/assist. He followed that up with another assist on Sunday to give him two points in his first two pro games.

Knighthawks among NLL Leaders: Matt Vinc moved up to fourth in the NLL with an 11.38 goals-against average. He is also tied for fourth with a .780 save percentage. Josh Currier and Kyle Jackson enter the week ranked second and third in the league in points among rookies.

• Goalie Matt Vinc is 58 saves away from reaching 4,000 as a Knighthawk.
• Dylan Evans needs just 12 faceoff wins to become only the second player in team history to reach 800.
• Paul Dawson is two loose balls shy of reaching 500 in his career.

Scouting the Stealth: Vancouver broke a 5-game losing streak Saturday after stopping the Calgary Roughnecks 13-10. Vancouver jumped out to a 6-1 first-quarter lead and never looked back. Corey Small was the offensive catalyst, pouring in four goals and four assists, while Logan Schuss added four goals and two assists. Entering this weekend’s action, Small is second in the NLL with 56 points. In fact, the Stealth have three of the Top 10 point producers in the league and are the second-highest scoring team with 98 goals. Rhys Duch is fifth with 47 points and Schuss is tied for eighth with 42. Vancouver (3-5) is currently in fourth place in the West Division.

Knighthawks Next Game: The Knighthawks and Buffalo Bandits will meet for the first of two games in two days on Friday, March 3 in Buffalo. The following day, the teams will meet at Connors & Ferris Field at 1 pm. The game on March 4 is part of a home-and-home series against Buffalo, which could prove to be one of the biggest weekends of the season for the East Division foes.

Kegs and Eggs: On Saturday, March 4, fans can start their pregame routines off a bit earlier as the Knighthawks host Buffalo at 1 pm. Fans who purchase the Kegs and Eggs package will receive a breakfast sandwich, two drink tickets and a 200 upper-end ticket for $20. Season ticket holders can purchase the package for $15. The pregame event begins at 10 am in the upper atrium bar area for fans who have purchased the package.
