Jury selection is scheduled to begin Wednesday in the retrial of Jalen Everett.
He is one of the defendants in the 2015 mass shooting outside the Rochester Boys & Girls Club. Everett was convicted just weeks ago in the shooting that killed three men and wounded four others, but the judge threw out the verdict because of juror misconduct.
Defense Attorney Clark Zimmerman is hoping to overcome the challenge of choosing an impartial jury.
Johnny Blackshell Jr was convicted last year and sentenced to life in prison. The third defendant, Michael Mathis, will go on trial in June.
