Jury Selection has begun for the trial of 38-year-old Patrick Brooks, a Rochester man accused of murdering his estranged wife and daughter on Thanksgiving weekend.
Brooks is charged with two counts of second degree murder in the deaths of Christie and Victoria Brooks. Both were found stabbed to death in their home on Wellington Avenue on the Friday after Thanksgiving last year.
Christie Brooks had just turned 35 on Thanksgiving, and her daughter, Victoria, was 18. She was home for the holiday from Canisius College, where she was a freshman.
