There’s no verdict yet in the murder trial of Jalen Everett, the second of three suspects accused in last year’s mass shooting outside the Boys & Girls Club to go on trial. Court has recessed for the day (Thu) and the jury will resume deliberations tomorrow morning (Fri). Closing arguments were heard on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old man is accused of being one of three people who carried out the driveby shooting on Genesee Street in August of 2015.
The judge has ruled that video coverage of the verdict won’t be allowed when it comes in. Jurors were visible in one of the shots from the pool camera that was allowed to cover the closing arguments on Wednesday, against the judge’s order.
