Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio gets out of jail Thursday morning, after already serving more than a month of the 60 day jail sentence she received last week.
The judge was sentenced to jail time, plus three years probation and six months wearing an alcohol monitor after Judge Stephen Aronson found she violated the terms of her conditional discharge from an earlier drunken driving conviction.
The judge missed a court-ordered random urine screening test because she had taken a trip to Thailand without informing the court, leading to a bench warrant for her arrest when she failed to report.
