An attorney for Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio says the judge has been summoned back to court again for allegedly violating the sentence in her drunken driving conviction.
According to the Democrat and Chronicle, Judge Astacio is to appear in court Tuesday at noon to address the issue a urine test the judge handling her case asked her to take several weeks ago. He requested the test because the ignition interlock device on Astacio’s car detected alcohol on her breath.
Attorney Ed Fiandach says it wasn’t enough for her to be charged with drunken driving, but violates the condition of per parole that requires her to stay away from alcohol. Fiandach says Judge Astacio told him her daughter was driving on that occasion.
