Rochester Police say a city 15-year-old took his parents’ car without permission and went driving this morning with his three-year-old brother as passenger….until he crashed it at the corner of Jefferson Avenue and Magnolia Street.
Police say the teenager failed to yield while making a left into oncoming traffic and was hit by another car. Fortunately both boys had their seatbelts on. All three people involved in the accident were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
The 15-year-old’s parents aren’t pressing charges for the unauthorized use of their car.
