Workers at the Anthony Jordan Health Center in Rochester staged a one-day walkout today, protesting their lack of a contract and a wage freeze proposal from the management of the non-profit center.

The 65 nurses, medical technicians, nursing assistants and other workers represented by United Healthcare Workers East will go back on the job tomorrow.

A federal mediator is overseeing talks between the union and Jordan Health management. Talks have been underway since mid-November.
