Olympian Jenn Suhr says she’s definitely not retiring…and will be vaulting again September 23rd at Roberts Wesleyan College and October 1st at SUNY Fredonia.

Suhr also said in a news conference at Roberts Wesleyan that she’s not ruling out trying for the 2020 Olympics…although she’s still emotional over the viral infection that denied her the chance to defend her Olympic Gold Medal in Rio. In the meantime she’s focusing on the upcoming world championships.

The Riga native says her doctors still don’t know what the specific virus was that weakened her, affected her joints and caused her to lose a large amount of weight. She says they’ve narrowed it down to a couple of things but are still working on it.
