The man who admitted that he wanted to pull of an ISIS-inspired terror attack in Rochester has filed paperwork asking to retract his guilty plea. Emanuel Lutchman says he agreed to plead guilty on the “advice of a Jewish counsel.”

Lutchman goes on in his filing to say Jews traditionally have a “blood feud” with Muslims, indicating that he was duped into his plea.

The Democrat and Chronicle, which has seen the court filings, says the assistant federal public defender who represented Lutchman in court isn’t Jewish, and Lutchman does not name the lawyer he feels misled him.

His counsel declined to comment.

Lutchman was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for his planned attack on the Merchants Grill on New Year’s Eve.
