The Town of Irondequoit is offering property tax rebates to businesses hit by COVID-19 and the shutdowns resulting from the pandemic.
A grant will refund up to 100 percent of town property taxes under the town’s RISE program (Revitalizing Irondequoit’s Small Business Economy).
Supervisor Dave Seeley says with so many businesses forced to close or modify their operations, reducing their overall tax burden is a logical way to help them make ends meet.
