All but one Town Supervisor race in Monroe County was settled with the incumbent winning comfortably Tuesday night…but the race for an open seat in the Town of Irondequoit is too close to call and will be decided by the absentee ballots.
Democrat Joe Morelle Jr., the son of Congressman Joe Morelle, trailed Republican Rory Fitzpatrick by 380 votes, 48 percent to 51 percent.
There were 936 absentee ballots requested in Irondequoit. Morelle would need 70 percent of those to go his way in order to beat Fitzpatrick.
