Police in Irondequoit say it was a domestic incident that led them to surround a house on Hudson Avenue Tuesday night. The department says it’s looking for an 18-year-old they want to question about what happened.
Sgt. Mark Bean says Irondequoit officers were called to the 1900 block of Hudson Avenue for a reported domestic fight, then learned a shot was fired during the disturbance. They surrounded the house where the fight took place and advised neighbors to stay indoors.
The suspect wasn’t located at the scene, but police want to talk with 18-year-old Willie Wofford Jr. They say this was an isolated event brought on by a family dispute.
The investigation is continuing.
