Federal prosecutors say a 60-year-old Irondequoit man has been arrested on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Canadian authorities served a warrant two years ago on the developers of a mobile chat app. That investigation flagged a user with the account name “rickyraz15” who used the app to share more than 300 porn images. The account was traced to Richard Wolfe of Rochester. He was arrested after a search of his home in October turned up digital storage media with pornographic images.
His computer appeared to have been smashed with a sledgehammer.
