Both a husband and wife were beaten early Monday morning in an apparent home invasion robbery in Irondequoit.
Police and family are asking anyone who might have noticed something unusual about 4:00 a.m. around Wahl Road in Irondequoit to report it.
Family members say two men broke into the couple’s home about that time on Monday. The husband went downstairs to check on a noise and was struck over the face, yelling out for help. His wife was beaten when she came to see what was going on. She was taken to the hospital.
The two men ran away, but left items behind that police recovered.
