Irondequoit Officials have adopted the environmental review necessary for the planned development of new soccer and lacrosse fields at Camp Eastman.
They found no significant environmental problems with the development…and Supervisor Dave Seeley says the town is on track to start work later this year and open the four soccer fields in 2018. He says kids will be the winners.
The state has given the town a half-million-dollar grant for the improvement, and the town will bond for the rest. The environmental process was complicated because the town-owned park is actually in the City of Rochester.
