Rochester Police Chief Cynthia Herriott-Sullivan says an investigator has been placed on administrative duties pending an internal investigation after a review of body-worn camera footage of an arrest on Remington Street over the weekend.

In that incident, a man wanted for several felony charges and another man who tried to intervene were arrested. There was a struggle with police leading up to the arrests.

The chief says in a statement that the department is still reviewing the body worn camera footage from the incident and will release it once some redactions are made.
