Rochester police investigating a domestic incident closed down streets off Monroe Avenue Tuesday night when they learned a gun might be involved.
Police were led to an address on Alexander Street, and closed off that street between Main and Champeny Terrace. Kenilworth Street was shut down from Union to Prince Street. People in the area were told to shelter in place.
Police lifted the restrictions after they made contact with a person of interest, but say they’re still investigating and can’t say more at this time.
