Doctors at Strong Memorial Hospital say New York State Trooper Craig Foglia is showing signs of improvement after the accident last week that left him in critical condition.
The trooper is now breathing on his own and his condition was upgraded this week to “guarded.” He remains in the intensive care unit.
Trooper Foglia was writing up a ticket in his troop car on I-86 when it was rammed from behind by a pickup truck.
