The National Weather Service says get ready for some freezing rain for Thanksgiving.
They’ve issued a Winter Weather Advisory for freezing rain, snow and sleet, from 8:00 Wednesday night through 10:00 Thursday morning. It covers the entire Greater Rochester area.
They’re expecting less than an inch of snow and possible ice accumulation up to a tenth of an inch. That’s enough to make for hazardous driving conditions but hopefully not enough to bring down power lines.
RG&E has just finished reconnecting all the customers lost from the windstorm earlier this week.
