Governor Cuomo officially opened the Humphrey Nature Center in Letchworth State Park today.
The center was developed through a public-private partnership…with $3.5 million coming from the state and more than $3 million raised by private and charitable contributions to build it. It’s named for philanthropist Peter Humphrey who led the drive to build it.
It’s both a visitor center and a four-season educational facility for the 850,000 people who visit Letchworth annually.
