ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Prior to the All-Star break, each of the Rochester Americans said where they were going to spending their break before the final stretch of 2018-19 regular season.
Andrew MacWilliam – Headed to New Orleans.
Will Borgen – Going home to Minnesota for the break.
Nathan Paetsch – Coaching my son, Kellen hockey team and spending time with the family.
Matt Tennyson – I will be in New York City with my girlfriend, Alex during the break.
Wayne Simpson – For the break, I am going to Boston and relaxing there.
Kevin Porter – I’ll be in Austin, Texas.
Victor Olofsson – Enjoying New York City with Asplund during the all-star break.
Sean Malone – Going to beautiful Buffalo, New York.
Andrew Oglevie – I am going to be in Notre Dame for the break.
Taylor Leier – I have no big plans but will look for places to live here in Rochester.
C.J. Smith – Headed to warm, sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida to spend time with a friend there.
Eric Cornel – I am going Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Zach Redmond – I will be relaxing somewhere but not sure where yet.
Jack Dougherty – Headed to New York City.
Scott Wilson – Going to spend the break in Toronto.
Rasmus Asplund – Sightseeing in New York City with Ollie.
Scott Wedgewood – My girlfriend, Brittany and I are going to Key West, Florida.
Jonas Johansson – I am not quite sure exactly what I am going to be doing yet as I am still trying to finalize plans.
Adam Wilcox – I am going to Milan, Italy with my wife, Jayna.
Dalton Smith – I will be going to Naples, Florida with my girlfriend Holly.
Brandon Hickey – Will be going to Boston for the all-star break.
Brendan Guhle – Was planning to go to Florida but instead I am going to Springfield for the AHL All-Star Classic.
Kyle Criscuolo – Going to Chicago with my fiancé Gabby.
Tyler Randell – Going to Scarborough, Ontario to spend time with family and see some friends who I have not seen in a while.
Danny O’Regan – I will be going to Boston, Mass.
Yannick Veilleux – Spending time with the family while at home in Quebec.
Alexander Nylander – Spending time in Toronto with both my brother, William and father.
Chris Taylor – I am going to sit at home and enjoy the peace and quiet time. I will eventually go over the things we need to improve on in the second-half of the season and get ready for rest of the year.
Gord Dineen – Spending the break in Orlando, Florida.
Toby Petersen – I will be staying in Rochester, chasing my kids around the house and plan on going skiing one day.
Following the annual break, the Amerks resume their 3-game road swing on Friday, Feb. 1 as the team travels to face the Binghamton Devils at Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena Game time is slated for a 7:05 pm start. The game can be heard live on The Sports Leader AM 950/95.7 FM ESPN Rochester. The North Division matchup can also be viewed on AHLTV.
