The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that took place in the Town of York, but they’re not calling it a homicide at this time.
Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty says it remains a death investigation until they get more evidence. Evidence technicians were on the scene until Fowlerville Road until after dark. He says the victim is male and they’ve recovered a knife. The sheriff says there’s no cause for public alarm.
The sheriff said in a late morning briefing that they aren’t identifying any suspects or releasing any other information at this time.
Deputies first went to the house after a 911 call from a woman reporting an apparent domestic incident.
