Irondequoit Police are saying a home invasion incident reported by a Point Pleasant Road woman on New Year’s Day apparently never happened.
Police say they conducted an intensive investigation, including looking at surveillance video from cameras at neighboring houses, and found no images showing an intruder at the home. The woman claimed a man had forced his way into her house and cut her on the throat.
Police say there is no safety concern for the public.
