The Holley Central School District is advising parents that bedbugs have been found in two elementary school classrooms.
In a statement, Principal Karri Schiavone says two live and two dead bugs were found in the rooms. She says the source hasn’t been confirmed but they’re continuing to have an exterminator treat the school building.
The district says that can only kill the bugs inside the building. They’re advising parents to wash and dry clothing and bedding at home on the highest heat the fabric can stand for 60 minutes. Heat from a clothes dryer kills bed bugs and their eggs.
