Federal prosecutors say a Hilton man is going to prison for eight years after he was convicted of possessing arms and ammunition although he is a convicted felon.

33-year-old Stephen Reed Pattison is a noted White Supremacist who frequently expressed racist views and his disdain for activist and political groups including Black Lives Matter. He was convicted of Domestic Assault in Missouri in 2016 and was legally prohibited from owning firearms. But in November of 2020, law enforcement officers searched a home on Church Road that Pattison shared with his girlfriend, and found two firearms, 25 rounds of ammunition, a black tactical vest and other items, plus assorted white supremacist and Nazi paraphernalia.

Pattison admitted in a plea deal that he attempted to obstruct justice by telling his girlfriend to claim the items as hers.
