It may be barely spring, but work on area highways is getting underway Monday morning with lane closures and shoulder closures going into place on Route 390 in Gates and Greece.
Crews will be building crossovers to carry traffic as a bridge in the stretch between Ridgeway and Lexington Avenues is rebuilt.
- From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Monday April 4 and ending Friday April 8, the left-hand lane along Route 390 northbound will be closed at Lexington Avenue.
- From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Monday April 4 and ending Friday April 8, the left shoulder along Route 390 southbound will be closed between Ridgeway Avenue and Lexington Avenue.
- Motorists should expect to experience travel delays and are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
