The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating whether a driver was using illegal drugs when he rolled his tractor trailer rig over this morning on I-390, blocking the northbound lanes between exits 7 and 8.
The crash happened about 6:00 a.m. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Sheriff Thomas Dougherty says the driver had what they suspect to be heroin on him. He’s being investigated for Driving With Ability Impaired.
Crews had to unload and transfer the truck’s load of beer kegs, then get the rig back upright before they could tow it away and clear the Interstate.
