Rochester police have turned last fall’s death of an addiction services worker over to the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office as a homicide case.
Brittni Iverson, 33, died at the hospital last November, hours after she was beaten at her workplace, DePaul Addiction Services on Dewey Avenue, by several women. Iverson apparently got into an altercation after arriving at work on November 30. Her family told 13 WHAM TV they blame DePaul for not having security present. That lack has since been remedied.
It will be up to the DA’s office to decide if charges will be brought and against whom.
