A Hamlin woman injured in a Tuesday night crash on Redman Road in Clarkson has died of her injuries.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says 81-year-old Barbara Huffer was heading north when she drove head-on into a tractor-trailer. Huffer’s car bounced into the southbound lane where it hit a southbound car, causing injuries to two passengers.
Deputies say the truck was on the northbound shoulder, loading heavy equipment. It was well lit and using its hazard lights.
All the victims were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where Huffer later died.
