A Hamlin man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the first degree murders of Alexander Burrow and Brian Kane.

Both men were shot to death in Hamlin and the car they were in was set on fire. Twenty-year-old Mason Earle was convicted after a three-week trial last month.

Prosecutor Matthew Schwartz calls Earle an evil man, who never showed emotion during the trial. But Defense Attorney Paul Guererri says that’s not true and he believes Earle is innocent.

Family members of both victims spoke outside of court, saying justice has been served as far as it goes, but it won’t bring their loved ones back.
