Maintenance Man Charged With Sexual Abuse, Hamlin Residents Have QuestionsThe maintenance man at a Hamlin mobile home park has been released on his own recognizance, despite charges of sexual abuse and forcible touching of two teenage girls.

Michael Anderson of Hamlin allegedly tried to get one girl drunk and then have sex with her. The other says he showed her photos of naked girls on his phone. Anderson has pleaded “not guilty.”

Residents of the Hidden Creek Mobile Home Park want to know why Anderson still has his job there and why he was allowed to walk out of court. Prosecutors say two of the three charges against Anderson are misdemeanors, and it’s not unusual for people to be released on recognizance for non-felony offenses.
