The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office maintained tight security today on the Honeoye Falls-Lima high school, where a threat scrawled on a bathroom stall warned of a shooting incident today.
The HFL school district says the threat was found earlier this week and investigated jointly with the sheriff’s office, which says several persons of interest have been identified and interviews are being conducted.
Despite the tight security, more than 400 students stayed away from school today, or more than half the student body. The school was on lockout today.
