Rochester police say several houses were hit by gunfire in three separate incidents over the weekend and the President’s Day holiday.
Shots were fired into a home on Roycroft Drive on Sunday night, striking a 38-year-old woman who was treated at the hospital. Shots were fired into a house on Ripley Street that same night, narrowly missing a pair of 11-year-old children.
Shots were fired Monday night around 11:30 into two houses on Durnan Street. Nobody was injured. Then shortly after 12:30 a.m. police were called to the 1900 block of Clifford Avenue where another occupied house was hit by bullets. Nobody was hurt, and nobody was hurt at about 2:00 a.m when shots went into a house on Mason Street.
Police have all these incidents under investigation and are asking anyone with information to call 911.
