Federal prosecutors say 21-year-old James Stephens of Rochester has pleaded guilty to charges of posessing fentanyl with intent to distribute it, and with being in possession of a firearm while a convicted felon.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says a search warrant was issued at Stephens home on June 19th, during which police recovered the drugs and the 9 mm pistol, plus fentanyl and cocaine.
Stephens was previously convicted in Onondaga County of possessing an illegal firearm.
