Federal prosecutors say a 21-year-old Rochester man pleaded guilty to charges of carjacking and possession of a firearm while committing a drug trafficking crime, and will be sentenced in August.

The two victims were sitting in a car on Gothic Street in Rochester in June of 2019 when Jacob Loyd approached them, and ordered them out of the car at gunpoint. He drove off, and police later recovered the car minus its radio and hubcaps.

Loyd was arrested later that same day carrying 15 bags of cocaine.
